Currently we have a need for a Business Development Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a niche provider of professional services in the EPM/BI industry. The Business Development Manager will focus selling to new customers, existing customers or both.
Achievement of strategic revenue objectives for assigned territory or industry segment which will be defined based on location and background of candidate. Primary role is generating, qualifying and closing new business for the company regarding Oracle EPM and BI solutions.
Candidate will have experience establishing effective communications with appropriate executives, managers and clients to understand their needs and deliver effective proposals (in conjunction with the Service Delivery Team).
As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:
Driving sales growth and increasing visibility with customers, prospects, and partners to provide consulting solutions around Oracle’s suite of products.
This role will be at the forefront of the company’s sales initiatives and will be part of an integrated sales and services team approach focused on continuing high-growth success.
5-15 years of sales experience with a proven record of achieving sales/business goals
A successful track record of selling professional services
Bachelor degree with an emphasis in Business, Marketing, or Finance
Proven ability to sell to executive-level prospects - Ideally CFOs, CIOs and FP&A Managers
Knowledge of enterprise performance management (EPM) or Corporate Performance Management (CPM), or business intelligence (BI), or other enterprise solutions
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate must be self-sufficient and pro-active in managing their work, while maintaining appropriate communication and escalation to management as needed
Develop and execute strategic sales efforts for software implementations and upgrade services
Develop and enhance field level relationships with customers, prospects and strategic partners
Proactively develop and qualify new business opportunities based on established criteria including strategic initiatives, business requirements, budget, and ability to close engagement
Utilize a solution selling methodology to identify and communicate value propositions to perspective and existing clients
Set up, manage and conduct face to face meetings, presentations and demonstrations
Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and activity reports to management
Maintain complete and accurate records of all account activities within company CRM system
