Job Description
As a Market Development Manager, your work will be focused on a high degree of service, reliability and commitment to proactively uncover, develop and groom qualified leads for enterprise sales to hospitals, integrated delivery networks, long term and post-acute care facilities. You are responsible for becoming the resident expert of healthcare facilities in a targeted region as you work in conjunction of the VP of Healthcare Sales , Strategic Accounts in a sophisticated, strategic manner building and maintaining strong business relationships with healthcare professionals.   You are driven to increase territory results by developing and implementing a multitude of activities to increase the number of touch points the Company has within targeted health systems. You exceed sales expectations day in and day out by building the current regional business to new heights. Communication is key in your role and your knowledge not only of your own products, but of competitors’ offerings, builds credibility with healthcare professional and partners.    
Responsibilities
•        Must possess intellectual curiosity with a desire to uncover unique ways to penetrate a health system and establish rapport and credibility with its professionals.
•        Facilitates business opportunities by identifying complementary partners and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
•        Proactively develop an expert knowledge of healthcare prospects technology platforms, as well as an understanding of the competitive landscape from both a competitor and product perspective.
•        Complete market profiling of targeted accounts leveraging a ‘business breeds business’ philosophy.
•        Maintains a daily cadence for reviewing online healthcare publications; mapping synergies, partnerships and mergers that impact the targeted region.  •        Through a consultative sales approach gather contact information, qualifiers, identify client needs and other information from prospects and enter, maintain accurate data in the CRM system (Salesforce), leverage SalesHub as a tool to track engagement.
•        Conduct highly targeted, high volume prospecting within assigned accounts to qualify leads via phone calls and online media campaigns.
•        Conduct sales presentations/ teaser demonstrations of Company’s technology platform in various functions within targeted accounts (via phone and online meetings).
•        Qualify prospects with the goal of passing leads and setting appointments to the VP of  Healthcare Sales, Strategic Accounts.
•        Achieve or exceed defined metrics and goals  
 
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree along with at least three years related experience, with one of those years being in a telemarketing position; or the equivalent combination of education and/or work experience, preferably within a technology or healthcare industry.  Must possess excellent communication skills both oral and written and be skilled in “Selling via Phone”. They must also have strong prioritization skills, the ability to multi-task daily projects and commitments, and the ability to learn, develop and employ structured telephone selling methods and approaches, including using tools for automation including SalesHub. Requires a basic knowledge of SONIFI Health Solutions technology based products, how to utilize our Return on Investment and other value added selling approaches, strong negotiation skills, a competitive-assertive personality with ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, high-risk sales environment, strong inner-drive and self-discipline, proficiency in SalesForce, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
