DeepSig is pioneering the use of deep learning to realize state of the art signal processing and radio systems by developing fundamentally new methodologies and software systems for the design and optimization of wireless communications. By creating new tools, algorithms, and approaches for signal processing systems, DeepSig is able to achieve unparalleled results in system performance. The results of DeepSig's research are already having a significant impact on the fields of communications and signal processing. Principal Applications Engineer

Job Description
DeepSig Inc. is looking for a full-time Applications Engineer to join our team in Arlington, Virginia, for an immediate opening. This is an outbound-facing technical marketing position, so an enthusiasm for working with customers is important, and an engineer in this role will collaborate with R&D, sales, business development, and other marketing functions to create and cultivate DeepSig’s public presence and technical content. The responsibilities of this position include designing and implementing software applications and demonstrations of DeepSig’s software products, creating new technical content for publication (e.g., application notes, blogs, white papers), and participating in the larger technical community through conferences and workshops. Candidates should be skilled with C/C++, common Linux-based open-source tools & workflows, and have very strong technical communication skills.

Our products commonly interface with software-defined radio hardware so experience or an interest in working in the fields of wireless communications or signal processing is valuable. Previous experience working with open-source projects & communities is a big plus. We hire engineers that empathize with the users of their code, develop good relationships with customers, and love to learn.

Travel expectations are light, mostly consisting of conferences and local customer visits. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States by US citizenship or permanent residency. This position is located on-site with our team in Arlington, Virginia. We are not currently able to sponsor visa applications or support remote hires
