Job Description

The flagship  AI Sales Assistant helps companies find and secure customers more quickly and efficiently by automatically contacting, engaging, qualifying and following up with leads via natural, multi-channel, two-way conversations.Used by more than 1,500+ companies worldwide, their sales assistants are built on a proven AI platform integrating natural language processing (NLP), natural language generation (NLG), and machine learning (ML) capabilities. Recognized by Gartner as a Cool Vendor, our client is a portfolio company of Providence Strategic Growth, Kennet Partners and Toba Capital and is headquartered in Foster City, California.

Product Manager:  We’re seeking a Product Manager to own the product vision and roadmap for our Sales AI Assistant for our B2B vertical. The person will identify and prioritize specific product requirements; and work alongside our Engineering and technical Product teams in Washington state in developing and launching new features to support the Assistant. Additionally, he or she will be responsible for working closely with new and existing customers to understand new product needs. The role will be based in Foster City, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Own the product vision and strategy for the Sales AI Assistant for our B2B vertical, ensure alignment with overall product and company vision
  • Serve as an internal advocate for our customers, bringing their voice into the product development process; including collecting customer feedback on product needs, and understanding customer, competitor and industry trends
  • Manage the Sales AI Assistant roadmap, understanding and making the necessary trade-offs, based on feedback from customers, competitors and internal stakeholders
  • Act as the “business owner” of the Sales AI Assistant, seeing changes through from conception to successful deployment
  • Analyze internal data from multi-variate tests and other sources. Make recommendations for improvements to product, pricing, and operations based on findings
  • Communicate and work across teams, bringing together and ensuring alignment with development and stakeholders

Required Skillset
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience at a B2B CRM, Marketing Automation or Sales Automation company
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in product management in a technology company preferred, other backgrounds in roles with significant analysis, project management and deadline driven components considered
  • Experience in scaling machine learning (particularly NLP or NLG-based) applications a plus
  • Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas
  • Experience with Agile development process a plus
  • Critical thinker and skilled problem solver
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience initiating and building strong relationships internally and externally
  • Professional demeanor, able to manage situations with competing demands
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce required
  • Strong individual and group presentation, written, and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics or related field preferred
